A•T•R•I•C•A• Community Engagement

Building Access, Confidence, and Data Literacy Across Generations

At A•T•R•I•C•A•, community engagement is core to our mission.

Alongside our data strategy and impact analytics consulting services, we partner with community organizations to expand digital access, strengthen data literacy, and support equitable participation in today’s digital world.

Our community engagement programs are designed to meet people where they are — building confidence, practical skills, and understanding through accessible, community-centered learning.

Our Community Engagement Focus Areas

Youth STEM & Digital Learning

We offer hands-on, age-appropriate learning experiences that introduce young people to technology, data, and real-world problem-solving.

Our programs are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students see themselves as creators — not just consumers — of technology.

Programs emphasize practical skills, confidence-building, and curiosity rather than performance-based assessment.

Youth STEM & Digital Learning programs may include:

  • Introductory data literacy and analytics activities

  • Game-based and project-based learning experiences

  • Beginner-friendly coding and computational thinking

  • Sports analytics and civic data exploration

  • Workshops and multi-session programs for schools, libraries, and youth-serving organizations

Programs are offered as after-school, summer, and enrichment experiences, and are tailored to the needs of each partner organization and community.

Senior Digital Empowerment

We support older adults in developing the skills and confidence needed to safely and independently navigate today’s digital environment.

Our approach prioritizes patience, accessibility, and practical application — helping seniors use technology to stay connected, informed, and supported.

Our goal is not just access, but confidence—so seniors feel empowered, not overwhelmed, by technology.

Senior Digital Empowerment programs may include:

  • Smartphone, tablet, and internet basics

  • Online safety, scam awareness, and fraud prevention

  • Telehealth access and online appointment navigation

  • Email, messaging, and video communication tools

  • Small-group and one-on-one support sessions

Programs are delivered through partnerships with community centers, senior housing communities, libraries, faith-based organizations, and local agencies.

How We Work With Community Partners

Community engagement initiatives are developed in close collaboration with local organizations to ensure programs are:

  • Relevant to community needs

  • Accessible and inclusive

  • Responsive to local context

Our role may include:

  • Program design and curriculum development

  • Workshop facilitation and instruction

  • Resource development and toolkits

  • Data-informed evaluation of program outcomes

Programs are typically offered through grants, sponsorships, partnerships, or select community contracts.

How Community Engagement Fits Within A•T•R•I•C•A•

Community engagement reflects our values and long-term mission, but it is not our primary service line.

Our core consulting work focuses on data strategy, impact analytics, and systems that support funding readiness and decision-making for mission-driven organizations.

Community programs are offered selectively and independently from consulting engagements, often in partnership with organizations whose missions align closely with ours.

Who This Is For

Community engagement programs are a strong fit for:

  • Schools and school districts

  • Libraries and community learning hubs

  • Youth-serving nonprofit organizations

  • Senior centers and housing communities

  • Local agencies and community-based organizations

If you’re exploring ways to expand digital access, build data literacy, or support intergenerational learning in your community, we’d love to connect.
