A•T•R•I•C•A• assisted a nonprofit in designing a private online support space where individuals experiencing homelessness could safely connect, access resources, and build community. We created a UX mockup to visualize the chat experience and presented both short-term and long-term platform options based on the client’s existing WordPress site.

Our recommendations included configuring secure, moderated features such as members-only chat, queued chat (with admin message approval), and one-on-one expert chats to ensure privacy and safety. We also proposed interim tools like Reddit, Slack, and Discord to support immediate implementation while the long-term solution was under development.

This approach gave the client a scalable and flexible plan to build a supportive, digitally accessible community space tailored to the needs of their members.
